Steve was delighted to be asked to host the CIOB 50th Anniversary Summer Ball & Awards in June 2015. The event was staged at the stunning Wynyard Grand Marquee. Guests enjoyed a delicious 3-course meal under the star studded ceiling. 

Steve welcomed guests and the facilitated the icebreaker. He was joined by a representative from Headline Sponsor; Corepeople

Steve then introduced Chair of the CIOB North East – Phill Beaumont, followed by CIOB Chief Executive Chris Blythe.

The evening supported Cash for Kids. Cash for Kids responds to the needs of children in our communities, so they can live life to the full, and realise their individual potential. There was a silent auction and envelope draw on the evening.

It was then down to business………The first award was Student of the year. As it was celebrating 50 years in the North East, the awards were split into three categories. It celebrated the best building projects of the last 50 years. 

Formalities over, it was then time to dance the night away. The night was finished in style, with the Paul James Band
