Steve first hosted the Institution of Civil Engineers Gala Dinner & Awards in 2017. The backdrop for the event was the fantastic National Railway Museum in York. He continues to host it to the present day.

2023 saw the event move to the Marriott Hotel, Leeds. In 2024, the venue was the Majestic Hotel, Harrogate

Steve then introduces the chair, who as well as addressing guests, then informs them of the benefitting charity from the evening.

Guests then enjoy a delicious dinner, following which Steve introduces the ICE President

It’s then down to business, and the ICE Awards.
