ICE North East Awards

Steve was delighted to be asked to host the Institution of Civil Engineers North East Awards. Staged at the Crowne Plaza Newcastle, The Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) is a professional membership body that government and industry listen to, while providing unrivalled support to it’s 95,000 civil engineer members.

As well as the prestigious Robert Stephenson Awards, there is the STEM Ambassador Award, Volunteer of the year, Chair’s Recognition, and a special thank you.

Following an introduction from Steve, ICE North East Chair, Paula McMahon welcomed guests.

The chosen charity for the evening - Climate Action North. Julie Harrison addressed guests.

Following a delicious dinner, it was down to business and on with the awards. Steve invited Paula back to the stage to introduce the Regional Volunteer Awards.

It was then time for the coveted Robert Stephenson Awards;

Small Project - Up to £1 million

Medium Project - Between £1 - 5 million

Large Project - Above £5 million

Following the awards guests enjoyed a DJ, Photobooth, racing simulators and Batak.
