Steve hosted the Shield Environmental awards in February 2018.  Staged at Bath Racecourse, it celebrated the 39th year for the company. It also awarded people who have been instrumental in its success.

The evening commenced with a drinks reception, and then guests enjoyed a delicious three course meal. Steve facilitated an auction and raffle to  raise money for the British Lung Foundation and the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association. 

The guest speaker for the evening was Queens Park Rangers Manager; Ian Holloway. Guests were also entertained by the Blue Lion Band.

Unfortunately Steve couldn’t do 2019 due to being stuck in the middle of the Pacific on a cruise ship!

He was however, back hosting in 2020. Once again, following the drinks reception (complete with fire eaters and stilt walkers!) Steve hosted an icebreaker game of heads & tails. He was assisted by Shield MD - Luke House. 

A delicious dinner followed, during which Steve provided subtle vocals throughout.

It was then down to business, and the Shield awards. 

As in 2018, all money raised on the evening through a silent auction and raffle went to the British Lung Foundation and the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association. 

Guest were entertained at the end of the awards by The Greatest Show! The show comprised of Vocals, dance and aerialists. 

Steve would like to say a big thank you to Tracey Redmond - who won an award herself on the evening.
