Steve has hosted the Social Care Top 30 since its inaugural event back in 2012 and continues to do so to this day. Social care needs strong innovative leadership more than ever at this time. The Social Care Top 30 gives the opportunity to showcase and recognise real leadership and excellence in the sector.

The Awards are staged in association with Care Talk Business. The first two events were staged at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel. In 2021, the awards began incorporating The Social Care Premier Supplier awards and the Social Care Leadership Awards. As demand was so high, 2022 also saw a change of venue to the Hilton London Bankside.

Since 2023 the awards have found a new home at Marriott Grosvenor Square.

Steve has had special guests from the world of media and sport working alongside him at each event. They include; Jeremy Vine, Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson, Louise Minchin, Jon Kay & Baroness Ayesha Hazarika MBE.
