Steve was delighted to be asked by TUI and Live Business, to host the Christening ceremony of stunning new River Cruise Ship - TUI Aria.

2026 marked TUI River Cruises 5th anniversary as a River Cruise Brand. Steve was actually the first comedian on TUI River Cruise Ships back in 2021!

The ceremony took place in Frankfurt on the River Main. In attendance were Executive Board members of TUI, German & UK Colleagues, Partners, Investors, Cruise Teams and the Press.

Steve welcomed guests and introduced Head of TUI River Cruises - Katy Berzins, and Managing Director of Expansion Businesses  - Mircea Tudose.

Following presentations from Katy & Mircea, Steve introduced the Master of TUI Aria - Captain Roger Spoor.

It was then time for the Christening Ceremony, and Steve introduced the Godparents of TUI Aria; Mark Sage & Paula Burgess. There was countdown, and a live link to the quayside for the bottle smash and fireworks.

The event was a massive success and ensures TUI's continuing success in the River Cruise market.
