Steve was delighted to be asked to host and entertain at the Wigan Borough Business Awards in 2024. He continues to host them to the present day. The awards are staged at the Brick Community Stadium, the home of Wigan Warriors rugby league club and Wigan Athletic football club.
The awards are organised by Sue France, Lisa McAllister, Jackie Salt and Jamie Grimshaw.
Guests arrive for reception drinks and networking in the South Stand Concourse. It’s then downstairs to the beautifully decorated South Stand Lounge. Following a welcome from Steve, the judges are then presented with gifts.
It then down to business and the first part of the awards. Main course followed with Steve providing vocals.
Parts two and three of the awards followed. It’s then the charity draw, and the winner and benefitting charity in both 2024 & 2025 was Wigan and Leigh Hospice. They received in excess of £3000
Following the awards, guests can then network, or enjoy the after party and entertainment.
