Steve was delighted to be asked to host and entertain at the Wigan Borough Business Awards in 2024. The awards were staged at the Brick Community Stadium, the home of Wigan Warriors rugby league club and Wigan Athletic football club

The awards were organised by Sue France, founder of Fubhub - females uniting in business and Lisa McAllister and Jamie Grimshaw of POW - Professionals of Wigan

Guests arrived for reception drinks and networking in the South Stand Concourse, where they were addressed by Yvonne Sampson, Head of Enterprise, Enterprising  You, Greater  Manchester Business Growth Hub.

It was then downstairs to the beautifully decorated South Stand Lounge. After a welcome from Steve, Ian Walker, Managing Director of 3PL to spoke on behalf of the judges. The judges were then presented with gifts.

It was then down to business and the first part of the awards. Main course followed with Steve providing subtle background vocals.

Parts two and three of the awards followed. It was then the charity draw, and the winner was drawn out by Sally Ward of UK Tote Group. Wigan and Leigh Hospice were chosen as the benefiting charity, and were presented with a cheque for £3500.
